The Sea Queen's Tide

Lady Frog, her senses heightened near water, felt a pull towards the lake's tranquil expanse. Balanced Bennie, ever mindful of balance, noticed the way the gentle waves lapped against the shore, a rhythmic pulse that seemed to resonate with the very earth. Bloody Kitty, surprisingly subdued, watched the play of light on the water's surface with an uncharacteristic stillness.

It was said that the Sea Queen, ruler of the deep, held a unique connection to this land, particularly the forests and streams they had come to cherish. Her visits were rare, occurring when the veil between the water and the land thinned, often coinciding with the changing of the seasons.
