Balanced Bennie, the rhythmic pulse of the music already syncing with his own steady heart, felt a sense of familiarity in the air. Lady Frog, her senses attuned to the subtle energies of a place, noted the easy smiles and the spirit of unity that seemed to flow through the town like the ocean breeze. Bloody Kitty, surprisingly, seemed less guarded, tapping her foot lightly to the beat as she scanned the colorful murals adorning the walls.

It was Boletus, his mushroom hat bobbing with the music, who first spotted him. Sitting on a weathered stool beneath a sprawling mango tree, was a man with a kind smile and eyes that held the warmth of the Jamaican sun. His dreadlocks flowed down his back like dark vines, and the air around him seemed to vibrate with a gentle melody, even when he wasn't singing.
